Position Overview

Responsible for management and implementation of pricing initiatives and the establishment of documented pricing processes. Manages data requirements and pricing systems while defining zero defect pricing project best practices. Responsible for ensuring that all new pricing introductions and pricing tests and executed smoothly and efficiently while flowing through the appropriate processes to meet the targeted release dates. Manages pricing efforts, delivers project management insights and action recommendations to ensure timely delivery of output.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partners with Strategic Pricing Leads to manage the execution of pricing initiatives, including new price introductions and pricing tests

  • Responsible for management of pricing software, including serving as the primary liaison for external pricing vendor and internal engineering partners

  • Responsible for continuous process improvement, including the planning, performing, and implementing of process improvement initiatives related to pricing governance

  • Collaborates with marketing and other functional teams and leaders to oversee pricing and promotion initiatives.

  • Leads the improvement and standardization of pricing practices and processes.

  • Designs and develops data and system work flows and processes in partnership with IT organization.

  • Integrates information from multiple sources/resources and effectively communicates results.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 + years directly related experience

  • BS/BA in related discipline (e.g. Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or Engineering strongly preferred

  • Excellent problem-solving skills (including problem structuring, detailed analysis and recommendation development)

  • Strong financial analysis & modeling skills, ability to analyze and synthesize

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including the ability to write compelling presentations)

  • Strong interpersonal skills, experience working on teams,

  • Ability to demonstrate drive, energy and self-motivation

  • Ability to build strategic working relationships

  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access and PowerPoint)

  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of database management

  • Ability to procure and clean data

  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
