We are building a platform for experts to provide remote, on-demand services to their customers, saving money and time in traffic, and providing a better overall experience for both parties.

But Streem goes a step further. By bringing together some of the latest technologies in a convenient and easy to use app, we are revolutionizing communication beyond just normal remote video. Using Augmented Reality, now the plumber can literally reach out and point at the problem area, instead of trying to explain with just words. They can also take remote measurements, because Streem is capturing depth information during the call. Using Machine Learning and Image Recognition, we can identify products, extract model/serial numbers, recognize problems situations, and more, making the professional even more efficient than if they were onsite.

What You'll Do

  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to define the product and infrastructure roadmap. Chart a course for how engineering will execute on that roadmap.

  • Drive hiring and recruiting for our fast-growing engineering team, all while keeping the team engaged and high-performing as we add new people of varying backgrounds and experience.

  • Foster an atmosphere of communication, collaborative problem solving, encouragement, learning and sharing.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to all the talented engineers on your team, holding regular one on one meetings, and helping each team member grow their skills and experience.

  • Use Agile methodologies to prioritize, plan and track project progress, while taking the time to reflect and continuously improve.

  • Create infrastructure and process to best enable your team to succeed

  • Own all aspects of team execution ensuring features are delivered on time with high quality, security, and performance

  • Stay close to the code, conducting code reviews, making technical contributions to the product architecture, troubleshooting, and solving bugs

  • You have many years of experience working in a technology stack that includes REST-based service-oriented architectures, front end libraries, infrastructure as code, databases, AWS, build systems and tooling.
