LEAD SOFTWARE ENGINEER
What the engineering team will be working on over the next year:
Streem is enhancing communication beyond just normal remote video by bringing together some of the latest technologies in a convenient and easy to use app. Using Augmented Reality via phone, a plumber can now literally reach out and point at the problem area, instead of trying to explain it with just words. The app also takes remote measurements by capturing depth information during the call. Using Machine Learning and Image Recognition Streem identifies products, extracts model/serial numbers, recognizes problem situations, and more, making the professional even more efficient than if they were onsite.
This position will be the tech lead for a new team at Streem that is working with a Fortune 100 company partner to deliver cutting-edge experiences for their customers.

As a member of our team, you will:
Collaborate with other software engineers, stakeholders, and product managers to build services and applications that are internally and externally facing
Work closely with product managers, designers, software engineers, and infrastructure engineers to design and implement new features
Lead the development and deployment of a suite of products in coordination with a strategic Fortune 100 partner
Collaborate with leaders across the company to evangelize and strengthen the engineering culture by continuously improving practices, processes, standards, and tooling

At least 5 years of software development experience
At least 2 years experience leading the development of a product
Expertise in one of the following, Android, Backend Development, iOS, or Web, and their accompanying languages Kotlin, Swift, or TypeScript
Experience with at least two other disciplines above
Experience working with Product and Design departments on shared goals and roadmaps
A strong focus on building user interfaces which surprise and delight customers
Strong communication skills up, down, and sideways
Experience with augmented reality and/or virtual reality
Familiarity with SDK development and deployment
Experience working on high profile software for high profile customers
