SR. MANAGER BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

What the business development team will be doing over the next year:
It’s our team’s job to evangelize Streem’s amazing tools and systems for clear communication and problem-solving. We strive to capture the nuance, expressiveness, and specificity of human communication. We explore AR and AI opportunities to make the physical and virtual worlds understand each other and unlock a yet unknown range of capabilities and solutions.

What You'll Do:
As a Sr. Manager, Business Development, you are a key player in driving revenue-producing activities for our game-changing application. You will strategize and align with sales leadership to define, position, and execute the sales strategy. Although you hold a key role, you lead with a consultative style both internally and externally.
Necessary:
5+ years of business development experience in a quota-carrying role, selling Enterprise SaaS, CCaaS, CRM, or Customer Experience solutions
Demonstrable track record of above-target performance, preferably in a startup environment
Experience selling a product for a category creator; products not budgeted for already
Expertise with prospecting and CRM tools and processes
Excellent forecasting, reporting, and communication skills (verbal and written)
Develop new leads and opportunities from outbound prospecting efforts within assigned categories/verticals
Expertise in solution-based sales and driving opportunities through the sales process to contract signature and implementation
Ability to develop and execute account plans spanning multiple business units across complex organizations
Experience in presenting, closing, and maintaining relationships with senior managers and the C-suite
Proven ability to manage complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements
Overall:
Intrinsically driven to succeed in developing new business
Ability to develop strong relationships with prospective customers
Strong interest in technology and a deep understanding of the space
Ability to embrace feedback and hold yourself accountable
Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoom, and other comparable tools
Willingness to travel 30% or more as needed
Desired:
Above-target performance (top 10-20% of the company)
Proven success in closing deal sizes at or above $150k ARR
Possess an understanding of SaaS financial metrics
AR, MR, mobile AR sales experience
Bachelor’s degree or above, or commensurate experience in engineering, technology, or business management
