Responsibilities
Summary: We are looking for strong Atlassian/JIRA administrator to support our cloud application suite. This position is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and extending our Atlassian Cloud suite. Within this role, you will directly affect process implementation, integrate Atlassian products with other internal applications, and drive efficiencies for our organization.
Responsibilities:
Configuration, maintenance, and administration of Atlassian Cloud products (JIRA Cloud, Confluence Cloud, JIRA Service Management)
Evaluate and manage the usage of Atlassian add-ons to meet team and business needs
Work with development and design teams to identify procedural efficiencies, such as withJira Workflows, custom fields, etc.
Work with advanced automation tools to automate Jira workflows and tasks.
Devise, test, and deploy integrations between Atlassian products and other internal tool
Conduct training for employees and new hires on JIRA and briefing the team/s on new
Research and implement new approaches on JIRA and Confluence usage.
Prompt issue resolution with JIRA Projects and Confluence in coordination with otheradmins, partner teams and Atlassian premier support.
Qualifications
Minimum Education, Licensure and Professional Certification requirements: High school degree in computer technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum Experience required:
3+ years as an administrator
3 - 5 years' experience as a JIRA and Confluence Administrator with experience customizing JIRA projects with various schemas, complex workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes required (JIRA Cloud, Confluence Cloud, Jira Service Management)
Strong knowledge and familiarity with JQL
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of both Scrum and Kanban methodologies
Experience extending Atlassian products via code development is preferable
Preferred Skills:
Experience directly integrating Atlassian products with other systems is preferable
Understanding of Web Technologies (Cloud/Amazon Web Services, Jira, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Java)
Highly organized, you are someone who loves to keep data nice and clean
Ability to analyze, review, and document current functionality to determine potential areas of improvement.
Other/State Specific
This role pays between $61,400.00 to $92,000.00, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, responsibilities, experience, and location.
