Responsibilities

Position Overview This role is 100% virtual/remote

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this Total Rewards leadership role is high impact, driving total rewards philosophy, architecture, implementation and best practices across the company. This position will build and lead a team, providing support to all Frontdoor employees globally. The successful leader will identify with our House Rules: obsess over our customers’ problems; be an owner, not a renter; be transparent, build trust; do great things every day. The Total Rewards leader will first seek to understand business needs and then quickly build highly productive relationships across a variety of stakeholder groups to accomplish objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pragmatic and innovative vision and leadership to total rewards that focuses on the whole employee and impacts business results.

  • Provide thought leadership, lead change management efforts, and build total reward programs that will ensure we meet our goals of attracting, engaging, and retaining the best talent.

  • Ensure the total reward programs are market competitive and aligned with our House Rules and business strategies, and consistently administered and in compliance with company policies and relevant government regulations.

  • Leads the strategy development, implementation, and administration of base, incentive, and executive compensation programs, including compensation philosophy, job classification and job family structures, market pricing criteria and salary structures.

  • Oversee the compensation administration process including the planning and implementation of annual salary reviews, merit increases, short/long term incentives.

  • Conduct research and analysis of compensation data, model financial impact of compensation plans and programs and prepare recommendations to support business objectives.

  • Oversee the design and implementation of benefit and leave strategies to ensure they are consistent with the Company’s business goals, and research and develop strategy for all benefit programs with the support of brokers and vendors.

  • Ensure the benefit plans are administered in compliance with plan provisions and manage outside consultants and business partners.

  • Leadqualitative and quantitative analytics to support development of cost-effective benefit programs, including proposals for program changes, utilization, vendor performance, trends, and program analysis.

  • Responsible for the overall strategic direction and success of the HRIS Systems, and accountable for the governance and support of the HR systems (Success Factors, ADP, Kronos, Workday, and others).

  • Develop trusted partnerships with the CPO, executive leadership, and communications team to develop, execute, and communicate key benefits and compensation programs and ensure alignment between business strategies.

Qualifications

Required and Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in compensation analysis, trends, and best practices in a multi-disciplined environment, including with technical and sales roles.

  • Demonstrated excellence in project management.

  • Experience leading the strategic direction of HRIS systems.

  • Analytical, pragmatic, and adaptable. Ability to evaluate complex data and make recommendations.

  • Ability to quickly establish credibility to partner effectively with business leaders and people team colleagues to define and deliver effective processes, data and programs that support the business goals.

  • Proactive with a strong sense of urgency, and has a continuous process improvement mindset.

  • Willingness to get the work done; not focused on titles and bureaucracy.

  • Advanced MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.

  • Experience working with Workday

  • Ability to monitor compensation, benefits, and legislative trends in the competitive market.

Location of Role

This role can be based anywhere in the U.S., with a slight preference for the Central time zone.
